3 bedroom detached bungalow, Aberdeenshire
Purchased new from Scotia Homes three years ago this bungalow’s garden was transformed by Chelsea Gold medallist Richard Lucas (www.richardlucas.biz). With the garden established the owners asked Emma Clanfield Design to update the interior to reflect the new surroundings.
The refurbishment started with the basics - new wooden and porcelain floors were added throughout, a new lighting scheme implemented with dimmer switches and layers of light, panelling, radiator covers and bench seating added to the hallway, and much needed built- in storage designed for the living room and study.
Paints and wallpapers from Neisha Crosland, Rapture & Wright and Paint Library were then used alongside fabrics from G & P Baker, Rapture and Wright, Fox Linton and Knowles & Christou to create a contemporary but classic interior inspired by the colours and organic shapes of the owners’ beautiful garden.
