Interior design
Based in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside Emma can help you create a stylish and affordable interior through the use of quality furniture, vintage finds, beautiful fabrics and wallpapers.

Emma now has a showroom area within the Touched by Scotland store, Oyne, Aberdeenshire and her colourful and eclectic interior design display mixes wallpapers by Kerdova Print, Neisha Crosland, Paint & Paper Library and GP & J Baker with curtain fabrics by Kate Forman and a mixture of salvaged, original, charity shop and new Lloyd Loom furniture. The side table is on loan from a local antique dealer who also supplied the old metal file boxes which Emma has painted inside using Paint Library colours and uses to contain her fabric and wallpaper books. The display reflects the way Emma likes to mix up and resuscitate vintage finds or your own treasured furniture with well designed fabrics & wallpapers to give your home a new lease of life.
Emma has gathered together a library of hand printed wallpapers and fabrics from designers all over the United Kingdom including Kerdova Print, Knowles & Christou, Louise Body Wallprint and Rapture & Wright. These specialised fabrics and wallpapers are complemented by furniture, fabric, wallpapers and paints from Brian Yates, David Seyfried, Designers Guild, Elanbach, Fox Linton, GP & J Baker, James Hare, Kate Forman, O’Ecotextiles, Malabar, Mulberry, Neisha Crosland, Paint & Paper Library, Sanderson, CharlotteJames Edinburgh, Swaffer, Turnell and Gigon,Vincent Shepherd and Zoffany.

'This was the first time I have worked with an interior designer and I found the whole experience very easy and straightforward. Although mine was just a small job, Emma took a great deal of time and effort in helping me to find the right solution and I am delighted with the result!'

Interior Design Services
Emma offers a free initial interior design consultation in your own home to discuss your likes and dislikes, determine the scope of your project and establish your objectives. (Mileage may be charged if you are out with a 30 mile radius, please check when booking)
Curtains & Blinds
For simple requests such as curtains, blinds and cushions there is no design fee. Following the initial consultation you will be given design ideas, fabric swatches and an estimate for the completed window treatment to be implemented by Emma Clanfield Decoration & Design.

'I had never used an interior designer before meeting Emma, and I have to say I was a bit nervous to start with. However, the blinds and cushions she designed for me are just brilliant and are so much more than what I would have had if someone had not spent so much time and expertise on helping me choose the best fabrics and designs. I have really enjoyed the experience and look forward to working on future projects with Emma.'
Sample Board Service

‘I always thought employing an interior designer would be really expensive, until I came across Emma Clanfield Decoration & Design. For a one-off fee of £95, Emma visited my home, designed a brand new decorating scheme for my kitchen and produced a mood board suggesting colours, fabrics, wallpaper, furniture, window treatments & accessories. Then, when I gave Emma the go-ahead to implement the scheme, not only did she give me a discount on the RRP of the fabrics, I received a £50 rebate back from the initial consultancy fee. I’ve ended up with a fully interior-designed room which I love and it was all so easy. What a bargain!’
If you are looking to re-decorate a whole room or rooms then you can take advantage of our sample board service. Following your free initial consultation a scheme can be designed for you based on a combination of your personal preferences together with colours, fabrics and wallpapers appropriate to the features and existing elements of your room (careful consideration is given to incorporate the furniture & accessories you wish to retain).
The designed scheme will be presented to you on a sample board to include paint, wallpaper and fabric swatches, flooring & furniture suggestions, room layouts and window treatment sketches with an estimate for the completed design.
This service is charged at £95.00 per room of which £50.00 is refundable on paint, wallpaper and fabric purchases through Emma Clanfield Decoration & Design should you choose to go ahead. There will be no further design fee for implementation of the scheme and discounts will be given where possible on the recommended retail price of the selected fabrics.
